Tera System
Cat 8 & 8.2 Cabling System
The TERA® connector originally developed by Siemon for Category 7A/Class FA is at the same time the basis for end-to-end cabling of Category 8.2 systems, as the solution developed at that time also easily meets the current requirements of the standard. In use with S/FTP 2000 MHz category 8.2 cable components, direct 2 connector connections for 25Gig and 40Gig switch-server applications in the data center with lengths of up to 30 m are thus possible.

Siemon offers a wide range of fiber optic cables for various requirements for indoor or outdoor applications. The range covers everything required for multimode or singlemode fiber optic connections. The LC BladePatch components ensure easy handling of the interlock in high-density patch panel environments due to a special push-pull design. An optimized smaller diameter cable design reduces space requirements, which contributes to better ventilation in the rack. The patented latch, which requires only the latch to be turned, not the connector itself, makes it easy to change polarity in the field, significantly reducing the risk of damaging the fiber. The polarity change can then also be clearly identified.
